Scottsdale Republic Features SUSD Teachers

Do you know an outstanding teacher in the Scottsdale Unified School District? Would you like that teacher to be recognized in the newspaper? The Scottsdale Republic is running a weekly feature highlighting a different SUSD teacher each week. To nominate a teacher for this feature, simply fill out the online Teacher Nomination Form (http://www.susd.org/district/communications/teachernominationform.cfm).

SUSD Nutrition Services is now publishing a newsletter for parents and the community. Please read their second edition.

 

Cocopah Dress Code

Students may not wear:

  • Distracting, un-natural hair coloring or makeup
  • Ragged, torn, or dirty clothes
  • Clothing/accessories that advertise weapons, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, violence, or inappropriate messages
  • Accessories posing a threat to the safety of others
  • Pants/shorts hanging low on hips exposing bare skin or underwear (in any posture)
  • Clothing which exposes undergarments, midriffs, backs, etc. (i.e.: spaghetti straps, crop tops, tube tops, strapless garments, halter tops, razor back tops etc.)
  • Short-shorts, skirts or dresses that are immodest in any posture
  • Hats in buildings
  • Pajamas or slippers

In all cases administration has the final say on appropriate attire.
